Raspberry Leaf
This raspberry leaf hails from the Balkan Peninsula, one of the world's largest raspberry producing regions in the world. The abundantly moist soil of Europe's Pannonian Plain provide fertile growing conditions for large, juicy raspberries and large, healthy raspberry leaves. Raspberry leaf is said to have many health benefits. The leaves contain B-Group Vitamins, along with Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. The leaves also contain protective plant compounds such as Tannins, Bioflavonoids and Alkaloids, which tone and relax pelvic and uterine* muscles. *Raspberry leaf can have estrogen-like effects and is not for people under the age of 18. Because raspberry leaf stimulates uterine contractions and prepares the body for labor and delivery, it is not recommended for women during pregnancy unless otherwise advised by a treating obstetrician.
