“Tiger Spring” Longjing Dragonwell Green

Tiger Spring Longjing Dragonwell Green is a mellow green tea suitable to enjoy on the daily.  Longjing means “dragon well” in Chinese.  In order to produce Longjing tea, the tea bushes are given more water than usual in order to produce new growth.  These young leaves are plucked and processed to create Longjing tea.   “Dreaming of Tiger Spring” is the name of a natural spring that feeds the body of water near Longjing Village in China and is the inspiration for this tea’s moniker.  The tea leaves for our Tiger Spring tea are grown on tea bushes located 70 miles south of West Lake in an area free of industrial pollution.    Enjoy it as a warm tea or a cold infusion (see Brewing Recommendations).
