A fine Victorian sterling silver nut spoon circa 1870. The spoon with a sinuous contour is embellished with bright cut decoration. At the tip of the handle is a spider and its web. The trailing decoration is floral and continues to the vermeil bowl. The spoon bears the mark for Towle Silver. Condition is very good. Dimensions: Length 6”, Width 1.5”. Weight 1.2 oz.
