Recorded by Frederick Fennell and the Eastman Wind Ensemble of Mercury 432754-2 CD. In four movements: Andante—Allegro non-troppo, Vivace, Lento and Allegro molto. Total playing time: 14:30. Scored (as with the Stravinsky work for 23 winds) for 3 Flutes, 3 Oboes, 3, B flat Clarinets, 3 Bassoons, 4 Horns, 3 Trumpets in B flat, 3 Trombones, and 1 Tuba. The 2nd and 3rd flutes alternate with Piccolo, 3rd Oboe alternates with English Horn, 3rd Clarinet alternates with Bass Clarinet and 3rd Bassoon alternate with Contra-Bassoon.
