An excellent way to engage patients and family members who have Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia. This set is very soothing and calming to those with dementia. A wonderful way to practice motor skills and eye-hand coordination as s/he threads the attached cord and wooden “needle” through the holes and practices beginning sewing stitches. The lacing motion is quite soothing and enjoyable. Our irresistible button comes with a cord that is attached to the wood “needle”. Lacing with the attached needle builds writing skills, pencil control and motor skills. Button has a 6" diameter and the needle is 4"L.
