Beautiful Original Theorem Painting of a Pear  by artist Phyllis Holden Dole Macey, the first wife of Senator Robert (Bob) Dole -- with free USPS Priority shipping   [PHOTOGRAPHY NOTE:  There is interference in the photos from glare and reflections since the original artwork is under glass.  We photographed it inside by a window.  Even with indirect daylight, the reflections make the colors appear faded, but they are not faded.  Also, there are some pink reflections (from our pink camera) on both the glass and on the silver frame.] This exceptional small original theorem fruit painting features a single pear.  It is a traditional theorem painting, a technique of stencilling and painting on velvet.  This beautiful original painting on ivory velvet is elegantly framed in a silver gilt wood frame (with a black outer edge). We purchased this (and a companion piece, a theorem painting of strawberries) years ago from one of Phyllis' friends who lived in the Mount Vernon area (the area of Al
