"Atlantis" Creamer by Josef Hoffmann

by Augarten New, original 1930 design  A modern classic, the "Atlantis" creamer was designed by Josef Hoffmann. The formal style of the "Atlantis" reflects the unconventional approach of the co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte and is characterized by the structured, scale-like surface that shows off the white porcelain to a particular advantage. This collection is available in all white and with handpainted scales in platinum or 24K gold. Founded in 1718, the Augarten Porcelain is the second-oldest in Europe. Now as then, porcelain continues to be made and painted by hand. Each piece is thus unique.
