by Augarten New, original 1929 design  “Mythos” dessert plate, part of the “Mythos” collection designed by Josef Hoffmann in a hand-painted geometric pattern on architectural inspired forms characteristic of the Art Deco period. 7.87" w x 7.87" d x 0.79" h This collection is also available in all white and in the Jugendstil pattern "Deco Vienne".  Founded in 1718, the Augarten Porcelain is the second-oldest in Europe. Now as then, porcelain continues to be made and painted by hand. Each piece is thus unique.
