Handmade of cast iron. Sourced from Belgium.  This cast iron teapot with a matt finish on the outside and enamel on the inside is a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese teapot. These are finished by hand and may lead to irregularities; considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece. This object is a balance of aesthetics and function.
