Silver Bear on a Swing Necklace

I was a great collector of stuffed animals as a child. Who am I kidding? I still love stuffed animals as an adult! When I was a child, one of my favorite stuffed animals was an incredibly soft gray teddy bear with white paws. His name was "Rex" and I would often take him with me on outings including family gatherings. I wanted to make a fun necklace inspired by my teddy bear and decided to make this cute little white bear sitting on a swing. This silver bear pendant is carved with many fine details from the flowers and leaves on the swing to the bear's little round tail! It is finally finished with colorful cold enamel.  The bear necklace is made of tarnish-resistant, recycled sterling silver. The clasp in the back is fashioned to resemble tree branches and leaves. The entire necklace is handmade by me in my jewelry studio in sunny San Diego.
