This photo from my neighborhood has been on my phone for years and I didn't know what style to paint it. I just loved the perspective and poignancy of it. After being inspired by looking at some minimalist artists, I knew the style was just right for this picture. This is 12x12, acrylic on canvas, done in shades of black that has blue undertones, with a pop of cobalt blue and titanium white.
