Calm Before the Storm

My Campers, you, named this painting on Facebook a few months ago.. It's such a gift to me as an artist to have you as my patrons & audience for feedback & comments on my work. It's so rewarding! And since you asked for it , I have made this painting available in a limited edition giclee in 2 sizes. The white border really make the brilliant Crystal Lake blues and hues just pop off the page. It's a soothing & gentle painting as we enjoy the twilight hours by the shore... but we all know what's brewing as the skies turn dark and the winds prevail. I painted this oil from a collection of different photos that I took personally and borrowed from other talented Campers who have enjoyed visiting Camp NoBeBoSco in Blairstown, New Jersey with me. The place looks the same.. even better than it did when we filmed Friday the 13there in the late Summer/Fall of 1979! This work is definitely a collaboration!
