Pure Merino Wool Raglan Crewneck - Brown

Our Pure Merino Wool Raglan Sweater is a half cardigan knit stitch sweater that we have been producing for a few years. The half cardigan stitch knit technique used creates a ribbed, chunky fabric you might find on an old fisherman style sweater. This season we constructed the Raglan Crewneck from UPW’s New England Plus yarn which is spun from 100% RWS-certified extrafine merino wool. The wool comes from farms with verified animal welfare and land management practices. The yarn is 2/17.5NM, single-end, and knitted at a 9-gauge, giving it a fine, smooth texture with natural stretch. Two superfine singles are twisted together before knitting, creating a balanced yarn with excellent recovery and a clean surface.Merino wool’s ultrafine fibers make this sweater an incredibly soft insulating piece that will be a constant source of warmth on the coldest days.
