BLUE DAMSON PLUM: A Versatile Fruit Tree The Blue Damson Plum is a fantastic addition to any home orchard. It produces delicious fruits from August to September, and it's self-pollinating, making it easy for gardeners of all levels. These plums are hardy, able to withstand temperatures as low as -30 degrees. The mature fruit is excellent for jams, jellies, and fresh eating. These plums mature to a height of 10-15 ft, but can be pruned to stay as small as 6-8ft.
