Hide Hair Removal For Buckskin Hair-Off Tanning Hide Hair Removal is a professional, easy-to-use, one-step product designed to quickly remove hair and properly prepare hides for buckskin tanning. It is used after the hide has been fleshed and salted as part of the buckskin tanning process. This product is included in the Tan-a-Buckskin kit. Hide Hair Removal is fast acting, In most cases, hair will release from deer and elk hides within 1–2 days. Dry, salted hides may take longer to fully rehydrate before de-hairing. Once ready, the hair is easily scraped off using a dull scraper, leaving a clean, white-looking hide ready for tanning. This product is popular for deer, elk, bison and cow hides and helps simplify the process of producing consistent, professional-quality buckskin leather.
