Snake Oil

Snake Oil Snake Oil is a finishing swab oil formulated to soften and condition properly tanned snakeskin after tanning with Snake Tanning Agent. This final step restores flexibility and stretch, allowing the leather to be worked, shaped, and finished without cracking or stiffness. This oil is also included in our Tan-a-Snake DIY snake tanning kit. Applied after tanning, Snake Oil penetrates evenly to condition the fibers while maintaining a clean, bright appearance. The result is supple, pliable and flat snakeskin leather ready for taxidermy, crafts, leather goods, and specialty applications. Snake Oil is Step 2 of a two-step snakeskin tanning process and is used after Snake Tanning Agent for proper results.
