Description: In 2181 a French exploratory squadron discovered a garden world in the Beta Canum Venaticorum system. Three ESA nations (France, Britain, and Bavaria) established colonies. Over eight decades, the three colonies cooperated in an attempt to adapt the planet to human uses. The Bavarians began extensive mining; the British created extensive transportation networks between the colonies; the French built their colony a beanstalk, providing safe, regular access to orbit. With Earth's War of German Reunification, the colonies began to experience rising tides of nationalism. Tension continues to grow as they jockey for power.
