Probe Heater
Meets or exceeds the following methods/laws/requirements: Section 6.1.1.2 (Probe Liner), USEPA Method 5 Product Description Used to heat up the temperature of sampled flue gas flowing through the probe liner before it reaches the filter. The probe heater is used as a sort of "pre-heater" in order to make sure that sampled flue gas hits the filter at the required temperature, especially when the nozzle is positioned at traverse/sampling points that require most of the length of the probe to be outside the chimney/stack. Probe Heater is frequently used together with a Probe Sheath and a Probe Liner. The Probe Liner is inserted into the Probe Heater, and the Probe Heater is inserted into the Probe Sheath. A sampling nozzle is then attached to both the Probe Sheath and Probe Liner.
