Oil Quantity Indicator, 4 Tank Selector, Liquidometer, EA-48-16 B-29

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is an authentic vintage quad-tank Oil Quantity Indicator made by Liquidometer, PN EA-48-16, as used in the US Army Air Force's Boeing B-29 Superfortress (see photo of B-29 Flight Engineer's instrument panel with a red dot showing instrument location).  The knob situated below the display rotates to oil reservoir 1 thru 4 (see photo of display partially rotated), indicating the quantity of oil in each from 0 to 85 gallons.  The instrument is experienced, showing evidence of its use, but is in exceptional condition for its age.  The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact.
