How to Install For Best Results Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee Rinse / Soap the dashboard and wait for it to try. Lay the ( Crosstrek --- ) Logo first. To make the laying of the pinstripe easier, add a painter's and align that painter's tape with the already laid ( Crosstrek ---).  Make sure the top of the painter's tape is horizontal with the ( --- ) that is already laid on AND it goes all the way to the end of where the pinstripe is supposed to end. Once desired placement has been met, peel the long pinstripe off and align the horizontal bottom of the pinstripe with the top of the painter's tape.  Keep laying it down while holding one end until the entire pinstripe is laid flat. Felt Tip Squeegee is not required, the use of a finger will work perfectly. As it will allow you to move the stripe the way you want it. NOTE** Due to the carbon texture on the dashboard, it may take some patience to lay down the overlay. LAY AND PEEL SLOWLY, DO NOT RIP OFF FAST! If using your fingers, start from one side of the stripe and use your finger to lay it down as you pull with your other hand to guide the way of how the stripe will be placed onto the side dashboard. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
