How to Install CR-V Tail Light Rear Turn Signal Pre-cut Overlay Tint For Best Results Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee Rinse / Soap your Tail Light Turn Signal Light to get rid of dust/debris before application Peel off Turn Signal Light Tint Overlays Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met. Start with the bottom overlay and align the edge closest to the trunk. Once laid the rest should fall into place, however once it gets to the curve, make sure you start to push out the bubble from the outside of the tail light towards the inner of the tail light (trunk location). This will allow the bubble to escape and wrap into the curvature of the tail light. Once laid and there are no bubbles left, heat up the overlay to a hot but not scalding temperature to activate the glue and ensure tackiness. Next Install the top portion of the turn signal. Align the edge of the overlay closest to the trunk and the rest should fall into place. Depending on how high you align the overlay it will cover the bottom overlay slightly or slightly over. This ensures there will be no lifting once set and heated up to activate the glue behind the overlay Once lined up the rest should fall into place, adjust as needed depending on how you lined it up Once desired placement is met follow the below instructions. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness. NOTE: Smoked and Light Smoke have PET liner, must be peeled off after install for a complete super gloss finish.
