Once laid, the rest should fall in place, you can also align from the trunk line then using your free hand guide the rest of the overlay to lay within the black outline INSIDE the tail light. These black lines are where the tail light overlay will lay in. Next peel the second tail light brake light (the one that sits on the tail light ON THE TRUNK ) off of the backing and line it where the trunk line stars. Once tacked down and lined up, the rest of the overlay should fall into place. However, you may use your free hand to guide the overlay to the desired placement. This portion will also fit inside the black lines and sit right below the black outline on the top, just after the red portion of the tail light ends. Ensure you have a padded card or soft glove to put on your fingers to begin applying the overlay on the light. If not, your fingers will work If using your fingers, start from left to right on the Driver's Side and Vice Versa for the Passenger side. Make your way towards the middle of the bumper or vice versa. Swipe left and right gradually to reduce bubbles. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. Do not forget to post heat vinyl to increase tackiness and from lifting. Once all the bubbles have been pushed out and overlay post-heated. PEEL OFF THE THIN PLASTIC COVER THAT SITS ON THE OVERLAY for a super gloss finish.
