The Bell 222 is an American light twin-turbine helicopter, notable as the first of its kind developed in the USA. It was popular for corporate transport and also saw use in emergency medical services. The Bell 222 is recognized for its retractable landing gear, dual hydraulic and electrical systems, and the Noda Matic vibration reduction system. It's also famous for its role as the basis for the fictional Airwolf helicopter in the TV series of the same name. A total of 199 Bell 222 helicopters were built.
