This 1" thread to barb elbow adapter is made of lead free brass, the elbow is designed to connect coil type pipe to the hydrant. The 3/4in NPT end screws directly into the yard hydrant while the 1in MIP barb fits into the pipe and is secured with a hose clamp or equivalent.
