It must be used with a compatible base pergola and cannot be installed on its own. Base units measure 5ft in length. Extension units measure 30 inches. If installing on hard surfaces we recommend adding patio feet to keep your structure level and secure. Our Pergolas are designed to be installed directly into the ground – we recommend a depth of 11 inches (30cm) for maximum strength and longevity, which is added to the final height of the structure you select.
