Albertine - Fingering Weight Yarn

De Rerum Natura Albertine is a wonderfully round, 4-ply yarn. Its 90% Merinos d'Arles (France) and 10% mulberry silk (China). This is smooth and supple fingering-weight yarn. Thus, we love it for both garments and accessories. The silk in De Rerum Natura Albertine brings a subtle shine to the bouncy and fine 21.5 micron French merino. The softness merino is suitable for knitting for babies and children. Meanwhile, the crimp the merino brings makes this yarn high-recovery so it will retain its shape well over time. The finished fabric is super smooth and luxurious. We find it particularly suitable for next to skin wear. We love it on its own or used for base layers. Albertine is a versatile workhorse fingering weight yarn.
