Genre Activities | Reading Comprehension

Welcome to genre juice! A fun way to introduce your students to various types of book genres. Each station includes the elements of genres labeled as ingredients. To teach this, I made a table for the genre and laid out the "ingredients" and picture books that would fall into each category. The students wrote down the elements, read the books, and rated how much they enjoyed reading them. They rotated through each of the tables.
