DARK TWINN 2.0 (DT2)

We had such an overwhelming response over the last few years with Dark Twinn, that we decided to take the design another step further down the alternative performance rabbit hole and see how far we could push it. So how do you make a badass board better? You redesign it for a specific purpose! The original Dark Twinn, was designed as an all around board primarily for average waves waist high to head high. However, it proved itself to perform in even bigger surf, juicier surf, which was a main factor for taking a look at what attributes could be adjusted to make its sequel faster, more responsive and dependable on rail. We pulled in the Dark Twinn’s sleek/active outline, and sharpened it into a more bladed out version, making the overall outline more of an aggressive performance shortboard look. A key component that brought the design to life was the inclusion of a swallow tail into the design which dictated the necessity to flare out the tail section behind the wing to complement the c
