An affordable omnidirectional antenna for outdoor reception of ACARS, VDL, and other airband aviation (118-137mhz) signals from overhead/nearby aircraft and towers. An outdoor antenna will always perform better than an indoor antenna, because outdoor antennas have:  better line-of-sight better reception without filtration from building materials less localized interference This outdoor antenna will not break the bank considering it is high quality and is tuned for ACARS, VDL, and general airband reception in the 118-137mhz frequencies.
