Built from the 1950 merger of three early mountain west airlines (Arizona Airways, Challenger Airways, and Monarch Airlines), Frontier Airlines connected large and small cities in the U.S. mountain states, Canada, and Mexico from its headquarters and hub at Denver's Stapleton Airport. The airline's 1968 acquisition of Central Airlines of Fort Worth expanded Frontier's network to Texas and multiple markets in the central U.S. Frontier's Summit Club members-only airport lounges were introduced in the early 1980s, and by 1986 could be enjoyed at Denver, Dallas DFW, Kansas City, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Tulsa. The Summit Clubs are recalled through this new product, an artistic interpretation of the lounge branding, laser-engraved on one side of a solid wood coat hanger with metal hanging hook. Each hanger measures approximately 17.5 inches across, and 6 inches from the base of the hook to the bottom of the hanger bar, with a thickness at the top of the hanger of approximately .45 inche
