Piper Aircraft issued a Service Letter 1309, 01/31/23, regarding inspection of the Nose Gear Steering Horn. SL1309 applies to all PA28-140/150/160/180/181 and should be inspected every 100 Hours looking for cracks or deformity to the Steering Horn. An indication of damage would be loose Rudder Cables. Kit contains the following: 1 - 63300-016 Steering Horn Assembly; 1 - 400-516 Bolt; 1 - 690-613 Washer; 1 - 404-526 Nut.
