Inline DI Adder Kit This easy to install plug & play housing makes it easy to add an extra stage of filtration to your setup. Select Mixed Bed Resin (for zero TDS). You will also notice that we offer single bed resins (Cation and Anion). Single bed resins only remove either negative or positive ions, meaning... to achieve zero TDS... always follow a single bed resin with a mixed bed resin.  Mixed Bed resin is what you want if you want ZERO TDS. If you have very dirty or hard water and you are aware of something specific in your water, adding a single bed resin is a great option for you. Cation di resins (positively charged) remove excess : sodium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, ferric iron and ferrous iron and other negatively charged ions. Anion di resins (negatively charged) remove excess : chloride, bicarbonate, carbonate, sulfate, nitrate, phosphate and silicate and other positively charged ions.
