“OVERTHINKING"

Overthinking is a fitting title for this series of wearable art I present to you.As a concept, overthinking is something that I as a creative, struggle with heavily…to the point that I often fail to produce my art to the physical world.The other part of it is that I have struggled in the past few years with finding my voice creatively or regaining my voice. So I went back to the drawing board.I had to revisit what SACREDBRED is and what it means to me and why the brand name is what it is. In dissecting the brand name and its meaning, a lot of self-discovery came to the surface. Some of it renewed discovery. Some of it a whole new discovery.SACREDBRED broken down to its most minimalist definition means, SET APART. It defines me as someone who doesn’t fit in many places in this society.
