C- The First Ten Days

This book tells a story describing a young girl’s first ten days of school. It serves as a mechanism for the reader to understand cardinal and ordinal numbers. But most importantly, the story showcases how a young girls’ self-confidence combined with the love of her family allows her to be herself and ignore/overcome the teasing and challenges she faces when starting a new school.
