Explorations in Textiles (12:30-1:30pm)

Saturdays: 12:30-1:30pmWinter session 2: March 7-April 25 (no class April 4)Instructor: MelissaFee: $165 Explorations in Textiles is a hands-on workshop for middle school to teen aged kids interested in fabric, fashion, and fiber art. Participants will experiment with surface design, dyeing, sewing, and visible mending while exploring both creative and sustainable approaches to clothing and textiles. Each session introduces a new technique, with plenty of time for play, practice, and personalization. Participants are welcome to bring their own garments or fabric to transform, or use materials provided in the studio.
