Lapis Lazuli Exotic Belt

 This is a rare, one of a kind Lapis Lazuli belt. It is adjustable one size, the strap of the belt is a reversible one with two different shades of your choosing.  One as shown in the picture of black snake skin and gold reverse.  The other is sided in a tan water snake color, the reverse is a black water snake as well.   *  Stone Description & History:    Lapis Lazuli is a semi-precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense blue color.  It has been mined in the Badakhshan province of Afghanistan for 6,500 years, & trade in the stone is ancient enough for lapis jewelry to have been found at Predynastic Egyptian sites, & Lapis beads at Neolithic burials in Mehrgarh, the Caucasus, & even as far from Afghanistan as Mauritania.   This particular lapis lazuli is from Afghanistan, where the best of its kind if found.  Our belt is mounted on a gold frame.
