Marrakech, Pestamel

 The city of Marrakech, Morocco inspired our Marrakech Pestamel. The green and brown colors reflect the African city's vibrant mosques, palaces and gardens.  Pestamels (pronounced (pesh-te-mahl) are traditionally worn in the Turkish bath, Moroccan hammam, or sauna. Pestamels are so versatile; they are loomed to be flat and light-weight. The towel is thin in nature but ultra absorbent, making the perfect beach towel, bath towel or throw. Uses are endless! SIZE DETAILS: 65 in. x 40 in. TOWEL DETAILS: Each piece we sell can be traced back to a family workshop, made sustainably and ethically in southern Turkey. Slowly handcrafted on old-style shuttle looms, some pieces taking days to make.  Aside from the environmental benefits, organic cotton is more absorbent, dries faster, remains soft, and is better at reducing moisture-induced bacteria, which means your products will never smell musty. Most towels are produced on factory machines using inferior quality cotton or synthetic fibers. The
