Thin blade reed knife

These knives are not manufactured for oboe reed making, but they work very well as a tip finishing knife. I use this specific knife for very detailed tip work on final day of scraping.  The blade itself is very thin at just under 1.5mm thick at the spine. The blade length is just under 3.5 inches and the total length of the knife is just over 7 inches. From edge to spine, the blade is around 20mm. The hardwood handle is stained green. I sharpen them on a belt sharpener, diamond stone, or  India stone and then add a fine scraping burr with a  burnishing rod.  Made in the U.S.A
