Martin Custom Shop "Alamo Authentic" 1929 OM Acoustic Guitar - Adirondack Spruce/Guatemalan Rosewood
Alamo Music has partnered with Martin Guitars in creating a limited run of acoustic guitars to celebrate our 95th Anniversary. All of the woods on these guitars have been hand-selected, and specifications have been painstakingly chosen to create what we believe to be perfect acoustic instruments.This model is near and dear to our hearts, because 1929 was a very special year in the music industry. First, Alamo Music Center was established in San Antonio, TX by the same family that still owns our company. Second, Martin produced the first 14-Fret OM-28 as we know it. We've recreated that original OM-28 as faithfully as we could with help from Martin's Custom Shop-- Adirondack Spruce top and bracing, hand-selected Guatemalan Rosewood back/sides, full hide glue construction, vintage-correct neck profile, and some interesting features on the headstock; as it was in 1929, there is no logo on the headstock though a "C.F.
