Good to have on hand for those quick repairs.  Change out the washers if there are any air bubbles in your dispense or if you can't purge with alcohol well.  Change out the ball (tap shaft if its stuck) and spring if they are dirty or you can't purge with alcohol well.  Soak them in hot IPA and they will be good as new - but you WILL lose them over time, that's why you have our spare kit ready. The insertion tool makes changing the outlet fitting very easy.  Stack the outlet fitting on the rod, followed by spring and then ball bearing.  If you can't get the ball bearing to stay well, use a toothpick to put a little Crisco on the spring to hold the ball.
