Emulsifying Wax consists of Cetearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60.  It blends fats with water and is ideal for improving consistency and stability of emulsions.  It is vegetable based, self-emulsifying, stable in basic and acidic media and highly compatible with most cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients. Low concentrations of emulsifying wax can help stabilize many different types of emulsions. Common Uses This emulsifying wax for lotion and cream making is ideal for a wide range of water-and-oil-based applications, including: Lotions – Create light to medium-weight moisturizers with a silky glide Creams – Achieve thick, luxurious textures with long-lasting skin conditioning Body Butters – Emulsify butters and oils into a rich, stable blend Scrubs – Keep oil and exfoliants uniformly suspended in your formula Hair Conditioners – Add consistency and smoothness to rinse-off and leave-in formulas Recommended use levels: Creams: 10-15%  Lotions: 3-5% Ingredients (INCI):Ceteary
