Food safe cutting board oil is also another option. A mix of beeswax and plant oil can help provide some water resistance and a buffed sheen. Please be aware that because this product is oiled just before shipment to the United States, you may see dried oil splotches that soaked through the paper wrapping.  It’s okay to wipe the toy off with a damp rag, but do not soak or leave wooden toys submerged in water or outside in the rain as water and wood do not get along well together!  SMALL PARTS WARNING ⚠️ WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small Parts.
