Soul Rush Records proudly present to you Garage & Bass House made by fresh rising star Newsome who spent 2013 on the road with the likes of Flux Pavilion, Submotion Orchestra and Clean Bandit. If you’re looking for sounds inspired by My Nu Leng, Shadow Child, Kry Wolf, 123Mrk, Friend Within, Applebottom, Disclosure then this pack is for you. In his sound design for the pack he recorded various percussive sounds, one shots and longer phrases created from household objects which included chairs, plastic bags, cans, lighters, the slats on the back of a plastic dinosaur’s tail and more… recording each surface and object at alternating speeds, rhythm and pressure after which the samples were processed and manipulated to make the finished product.  Newsome has been lighting up the blogs with his first few releases as well as becoming a favourite of the likes of Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens, XFM’s Eddy Temple Morris and Faithless legend Sister Bliss (MOS).
