Handmade from Curly Maple with contrasting Figured Bubinga bread board ends.Made from multiple strips of curly maple this board truly is a sight to behold. The wood naturally has a 3 dimensional rippling effect. it is as if the board is alive. The face of the middle board features burned grain lines. With in those lines I then burn in a line from Bereshit (Genesis) 1:29  in Hebrew translated: "And God said, 'See, I give you every seed-bearing plant that is upon all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food.'" The feet are cut and set at to pleasing angle at the bottom of the boardDimensions are approximately 20 inches by 11 inches, standing 1 1/2 inches tall.  A translucent acrylic top are included as well to protect the board from knife marks.All challah boards are finished with a food safe hard wax and oil blend and buffed to a beautiful luster.This board can also come with a handmade curly maple and bubinga stand ($20).
