This is a gorgeous pair of sterling silver dangle earrings with a round simulated sapphire Centerstone, and a halo of round simulated diamonds. The bail (front of part that dangles) has one simulated diamond set sWith three prongs. 9 simulated round diamonds are set in shared prone halo, set a bit lower than the sapphire so light can bounce off and through all the stones.Eight prongs secure the center stone. The prongs between the simulated diamonds on the halo are anchored to flush mount scalloped mold so the stones stay secure. Each stone around the halo is set above a hole in the basket below allowing light to pass through and enhance the sparkle of the Sapphire.The closure is a latch back on a hinge.
