SELPHYL® is based on the principle that human blood and platelets possess all the essential elements needed for tissue. SELPHYL®'s Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) is the next generation of PRP! With traditional PRP, activation is immediate with short-term tissue signaling but with PRFM, platelets remain viable with a controlled growth factor release over the course of hours to days, translating to long term and long lasting results.  A sample of blood is collected on site at the beginning of your visit, and is converted to PRFM in our onsite lab, separating the platelet-rich components of blood from the red and white blood cells. The platelet-rich components are converted to PRFM within a closed-loop-system. Once the sample has been prepared the platelets will be injected directly into affected areas of hair loss on the scalp.  From blood draw to completion of treatment, the entire visit takes approximately 3
