AM Ti-4.5 is a high purity braze alloy primarily used for direct application to non-metallized ceramic surfaces. AM Ti-4.5 is excellent for joining copper, carbon steel, Kovar, nickel-based alloys, titanium refractory metals, graphite, diamond, tungsten carbide, and non-metallized ceramics. AM Ti-4.5 meets or exceeds Vacuum Tube Grade (VTG) standards and must be used in a controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) furnace.
