Though not my favorite, I admired the crystal work. An ALG visiting show invitation inspired me to experiment with resin as grout to emulate the crystal work feel. It worked, but experimenting with different grout colors each section flattened the flowers. I tried markers, watercolor, and acrylics, but the color was too strong. Disregarding the results, I covered the glass with a red acrylic paint, let it dry, and cleaned it. The experiment turned out perfectly. This piece of art proves that: Experimenting is self-love.
