Peering 16 x 40 in.

Acrylic and pastel on canvas 16 x 40 x 1.5 in. I have constant inspiration from the ocean and beach. The structure of piers fascinates me, with the shapes created by the supports offer little vignettes of the landscape beyond. This is an abstracted view of the pier in Manhattan Beach where the pops of color and shade represent the constantly changing ocean. Finished with a UV resistant varnish and wired and ready to hang.
