What is a boneset herb? Boneset belongs to the daisy family, Asteraceae. It is a very common plant that grows in swamps, ponds, and along beaches from Canada to Florida and from Texas to Nebraska, in the west. The plant is easy to spot because it has long, curving leaves that wrap around a single, thick stem. The arrangement gives it the appearance of being one long leaf with a stem-made hole in the middle. So it was given the name perfolia, which means "through the leaves.". Some people disagree about whether or not this plant can help with broken bones, but I'm sure it can. You can use it to harden teeth, alleviate bone pain, and repair crushed or broken bones. It seems to do this by increasing blood flow to the thin tissue that covers our bones (periosteum). It also helps with osteomalacia and osteoporosis. How do I use boneset herb? You can mix boneset tincture with fruit juice or water and consume it when necessary. Traditional Dosage: two to three milliliters, two to three times
